If you are leaving WordPress or WooCommerce for Shopify in the UK, do not budget on a fixed migration package. At Fyntri that work is Custom. You get a written estimate first. The £5,000 Standard package is for a new store or a rebuild that stays inside the published caps.
Standard stays on new work
Standard covers a fresh Shopify build or rebuild: store build, theme customisation, up to 100 products, your brand graphics, sample AI product imagery when you need it, core UK checkout, and the essential pages. Caps go in writing before we start. It is not the vehicle for a platform move, and it does not recreate a stack of WooCommerce plugins as custom code.
Custom when there is an old shop to leave
Bring Custom in when the old site has to come across, when plugin behaviour has to be reproduced, or when a rebuild breaks those Standard caps. The estimate names catalogue size, redirects, customers, orders, and plugin logic before anyone books time. Pricing rules, subscriptions, and warehouse logic that hang off a thick extension stack sit in that estimate. The old shop stays up until cutover. Redirect packs for URLs that earn traffic are priced per 250 URLs.
Past 100 products, or anything outside the written Standard list, is Custom too.
Wix, Squarespace, and EKM land in the same scoping call. They are often lighter than WooCommerce. Magento and other heavy stacks are Custom. See the migration service for the work involved in a platform move.
Rankings at cutover
Google does not have to go to zero. It will if old URLs die with no plan. We map the URLs that matter, set the agreed redirects, and treat Search Console as part of the job rather than an optional extra. Written scope: WordPress and WooCommerce to Shopify. Timelines and access checklist: process.
What to send
Store URL and a rough product count through contact, or email [email protected]. We will say Standard at £5,000 for a new setup or rebuild, or a Custom migration quote, before a timeline is locked. Caps and add-ons are on Services and Pricing.
